Had an addition that involved taking off part of the roof to add a room upstairs.
They did the job without any inconvenience to us allowing us to live in the home during construction. Jeff an Michelle are very easy to work with and the final results was great.

Jeff and his team are fantastic. They recently remodeled my mother’s bathroom and primary bedroom, and the results were excellent. Their prep work to protect the areas of the house not being remodeled was impeccable. They worked efficiently, communicated clearly, and the craftsmanship shows in every detail.

My mom tends to have a lot of ideas—and they changed often—but Jeff handled everything with patience, flexibility, and professionalism. He made sure she got exactly what she envisioned.

Shortly after her project was completed, my own home had a plumbing failure that caused water to leak through the ceiling. Jeff was able to squeeze us into his schedule and get everything sorted out quickly. He even coordinated with other contractors to help us secure a plumber and exterminator right away, saving us a lot of stress.

We were very worried about our budget with these unexpected repairs, and Jeff was extremely considerate. He worked with us to prioritize what needed to be done immediately and what could wait. He never pushed unnecessary work and was respectful, patient, and never condescending when answering our questions and concerns.

We would absolutely hire Jeff and his team again

My family and I recently bought land located in Santa Rosa Beach as a beach house for the summer and we contacted Big Sun Development for our project. We are very satisfied with the result of our brand new home. The owner of this company was very cooperative and willing to make our goal achievable. The entire process was smooth thanks to the owner’s knowledge on prices and materials. He often gave us suggestions that were cost-efficient which is something that is rarely seen from other contractors and we are extremely grateful for that. For anyone looking for homebuilders in Walton County, please look no further than Big Sun Development. They have really earned our trust and we are looking forward to work with them again in the future!

Big Sun Development did an amazing job on our project. They worked quickly, kept things professional, and made the whole process stress-free. It was honestly such a relief to work with a general contractor in the Santa Rosa Beach area who clearly explained all our options, materials, and price differences. If you're looking for a custom home builder or remodeling expert along 30A, I highly recommend them.
